So I mentioned back in my Sun-Dried Hemp Seed Dressing post, that I’d do a review on the Mason Tap from Cuppow. I tried it out for about 2 weeks, with different dressings, homemade coffee “creamers” and simple syrups. I’ll do a breakdown on everything below and include a few photos.
Just like the other Cuppow products, the Mason Tap attaches to any regular mouth jar with the metal band your mason jar should come with. If you don’t have any regular mouth sized bands, no worries. You can buy some here.
The Mason Tap is a stainless steel cap with a unique spout that has a small flip cap on the very top. It’s a perfect way to use and store homemade dressings, oils, spirits, simple syrups or even infused waters. I mainly used it for my cold brewing, so I could pour concentrated shots of coffee over almond milk. As well as my current favorite dressing.
The Mason Tap is;
Made in the USA from stainless steel
Packaged in 100% recycled materials that are made & prints in the USA
Made to fit regular mouth jars only
Overall I really enjoyed using this and having a more convenient way to access my homemade products since I already use mason jars for storing everything. However, I will say that my only concern would be the longevity of this cap. The flip cap part and spout is harder to clean without a straw cleaner, or something small that fits into that. So that’s something to consider beforehand. But I found warm soapy water and a straw cleaner worked just fine!
