Starting the new year off, I’ve had many of you asking about ways to transition to a vegan lifestyle. While focusing on the dietary aspect of it can be overwhelming, I want to share the easiest way to swap out your personal care and makeup products for cruelty-free, vegan alternatives.
If you’ve followed me for awhile now, you would know my love for Petit Vour is real. By far the easiest way to learn about amazing brands and discover new favorites. This is how I learned about Meow Meow Tweet, my absolute favorite natural deodorant cream. As well as many other brands I now use on a daily basis.
Due for an updated review, each box is still exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend subscribing if you’re in the market for new makeup and skincare goodies!
Evelyn Iona Gel Liner + Brush Set | $22 (full-size $33.50)
This liner goes on silky smooth and doesn’t budge, after applying I gave it a swipe and nothing smeared. It will remove easily with a bit of coconut oil though. I loved this for tight-lining my eyes, it didn’t cause any irritation or discomfort – I love it! The tapered eye brush included helps you create the perfect winged look with ease.
S.W. Basics Mini Cream | $12
Made with only 3-ingredients, this cream is perfect for dry skin. It’s incredibly moisturizing, sinks in quickly and leaves behind smooth, hydrated skin.
Most creams tend to leave my skin feeling fine at first, but fade away after the first hour. This cream kept my hands very hydrated, even after sleeping. I love to apply an even coat on my hands and any dry spots before bed. I will say though, it does have an odd scent/odor. I’m not sure why, (some reviewers said it’s the olive oil). However, it fades after a few moments, but I started adding in an essential oil to help mask it. If you can get past the smell, it’s effective at doing the job.
French Girl Organics Rose Lip Polish | $9 (full-size $16)
Perfect for dry, rough lips. This sugar scrub is sweet and highly effective. I’ve been using it every other day, for the past few weeks. Its become an essential part of my bed time routine.
Pair it with a thick lip balm right before bed to ensure soft, hydrated lips that won’t crack. My lips have never felt so soft!
Kaia Naturals Bamboo Tapioca Beads | $5 (full-size $38)
If you’re looking for an exfoliating cleanser, look no further. The tapioca beads act like micro beads – without the use of harmful chemicals. I love the way this makes my skin feel. It’s a wonderful option for those looking to use a natural exfoliant to cleanse with, not too abrasive or harsh. I’d recommend it if you have sensitive skin like me.
Another huge success Petit Vour! January’s box did not disappoint, I’m so happy to have learned about these brands and sampled these products. Each month is a wonderful surprise that truly excites me! It’s fun to discover new cruelty-free vegan brands, without having to pay full price for each item.
